General Info
What is included with the overnight stay?
Your stay includes access to:
Seasonal resort amenities: cabanas, firepits, Muskoka chairs, snowshoes, and an ice rink.
Lakeside amenities: dock, beach, canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards.
Spa amenities (19+): year-round saunas and seasonal access (May 1 - Nov 2) to the pool, hot tubs, and steam room.
Cabins come equipped with:
Full-size fridge/freezer, wet bar, microwave, crockpot, coffee/tea station (French press, kettle), and complimentary snacks.
In-room draught taps (20L kegs available at an extra charge).
Smart TV with a library of vintage VHS movies.
Queen-sized beds with linens and bathroom towels.
Firewood, starters, and lighters.
What lake are you on?
Clear Lake in Torrance, Ontario.
Are the cabins open year-round?
Yes! Muskoka is beautiful in every season.
Are the spa amenities open year-round?
The pool and hot tubs are open from May to October.
Saunas are open all year for cabin guests.
A lakeside polar plunge is available in winter.
Can we visit for the day?
Yes! BeerSpa welcomes 19+ day visitors from early May to early November.
Pet Policy
We love pets, but they:
Cannot stay overnight in cabins.
Are not allowed in the BeerSpa, beach, or lake.
Are welcome in the beer garden at the brewery.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in: 3 PM
Check-out: 10 AM
What’s the cancellation policy?
For cabins, cancellations must be made at least 7 days before check-in for a full deposit refund.
Are kids allowed in the spa amenities?
No, the pool, hot tubs, and saunas are 19+ only. However, the beach and lake have a shallow entry perfect for kids.
WiFi Access
Yes, complimentary WiFi is available.
Accommodations & Amenities
Do you provide robes?
No, but you can bring your own or purchase one of our buffalo plaid BeerSpa robes.
Do you have cabins for two people?
Yes! Options include:
One-room and two-bedroom cabins (available May–October).
Three-bedroom cabins (can be booked for two people; a minimum charge may apply in summer).
Crash cabins, perfect for two people.
Bala Bay Inn (4 km away), offering hotel-style rooms.
Is food included?
Cabins have a coffee/tea bar with a kettle, French press, and complimentary snacks.
Bring your own cream or milk if desired.
Can we drink the water?
Cabin water should be boiled before drinking. You can also fill up fresh water at the brewery.
Are there cooking facilities?
Cabins include:
A fridge/freezer (modified for kegs), wet bar, microwave, and crockpot.
No ovens, stoves, or BBQs.
Can I bring a BBQ?
No, but there are great nearby dining options:
Clear Lake Brewery & Bottle Shop (open year-round)
Clear Lake Distilling Co. (seasonal, great pizza)
El Gringo Cantina (seasonal food truck)
Torrance General (across the road)
Do we need to bring firewood?
No, we provide firewood, starters, and BBQ lighters.
Can we bring fireworks?
No, fireworks are not permitted.
Do the cabins have A/C?
No, but all cabins have fans, and some have ceiling fans.
Do the cabins have heat?
Yes, some have propane fireplaces, while others have baseboard heaters.
Do the cabins have bathrooms?
Yes, all cabins have a full bathroom. Crash cabins use the nearby locker rooms.
Activities & What to Bring
What should we bring?
Weather-appropriate gear.
A reusable cup for beverages.
A water container (fresh water available at the brewery).
Plates, cutlery, and serving tools if bringing food.
Bug spray and sunscreen.
Beach towels and robes (room towels provided but not ideal for the beach).
Bathing suits and sandals for the spa and lake.
Life jackets (some available, but fit is best with your own).
Flashlights for nighttime walks
Summer Activities:
Pool, hot tubs, and steam room (May - October).
Beach, dock, canoes, kayaks, and SUPs.
Cabanas, firepits, Muskoka chairs, and campfires.
Massages & treatments by Wink & Wave.
Fishing & Boating
Fishing in Clear Lake is fair. Nearby lakes offer better options.
Boats and Seadoos cannot be launched on Clear Lake but can be launched at Lake Muskoka’s municipal ramp (2 minutes away).
Winter Activities:
Saunas (9 AM - 9 PM daily for cabin guests).
Lakeside polar plunge.
Outdoor rink at the brewery.
Snowshoes available.
