What is included with the overnight rates? Overnight rates include access to the seasonal resort amenities (cabanas, firepits, muskoka chairs, snowshoes, ice rink) as well as access to Lakeside amenities (dock, beach, canoes, kayaks, SUP's) . Adult rates also include year round access saunas and seasonal access to pool, hot tubs, and steam room. Spa amenities are a 19+ environment
Cabins come equipped with full size fridge/freezer and wet bar facilities, in room draught taps (two keg sizes available for an extra charge), microwave, crockpot, complimentary snack foods, coffee/tea station, french press, kettle, satellite TV, and an awesome library of vintage VHS movies.
Yes! We said VHS.
Each bedroom has a Queen size bed with pillows and linens. Bathroom towels are provided.
Fire wood is provided and you’ll find starters and lighters in your cabin.


Are the pool and hot tubs open in the winter? The pool and hot tubs are open May through October, Saunas are open year round and a polar plunge is available lakeside.

Will the kids be able to use the pool and hot tubs? Spa amenities are within a 19+ environment, so no, no kiddos in the pool, hot tubs or saunas. The beach and lake has a great shallow and entry entry perfect for kids.

Are your cabins open year round? You betcha! All four seasons are magnificent in Muskoka, and we want you to experience it! So come visit!
Are the spa amenities open year round? Pool and hot tubs are open from early May until the end of October. Saunas stay open for through the winter for cabin guests. Have we told you about the ice rink?

What time is check-in and check-out? 3pm check-in, 10am check out.

What’s the cancellation policy? For cabins, give us 7 days notice prior to check in for full refund of deposit. For Day Visits, we need 48 hours notice prior to check in for your visit to be refunded.

What’s an EcoFee? We are an EcoFund Verified business. As part of this, we collect these EcoFees ($1 per person, per night) to support large carbon reduction projects that help us reduce our carbon footprint. An organization called GreenStep holds us accountable and verifies that the EcoFees are invested in projects that will help us cut down on carbon emissions, through a range of energy, fuel, waste, and water conservation projects.

Can we just come for the day? YES you can!! BeerSpa is open for day visitors 19+ from early May until the end of October annually. Find more details here

Do you provide robes for guests? We do not. You’re welcome to bring your own or purchase one of the awesome buffalo plaid BeerSpa robes. Rentals just mean laundry and well… no one likes doing laundry.

Do you have any cabins for 2 people? You bet, the one room and two bedroom cabins are available May-Oct and you can certainly book a 3 bedroom cabin for 2 people, (a minimum charge may apply during the summer season) We also have little crash cabins perfect for 2 people. See more details here

Is food and beverage included?
For overnight guests, an in cabin coffee/tea bar with kettle and french press, a well appointed stash of junk food is also provided. We supply tea, coffee, sugar and whitener for the coffee, if you wish real cream or milk we suggest bringing a bit with you.

Can we drink the water? Cabin water needs to be boiled before drinking, so it’s fine for coffee or tea. If you want, bring a container and fill it up at the brewery. Good water helps make great beer.

Are there cooking facilities? Cabins have a big fridge/freezer that has been modified for kegs (read: some shelves removed), a wet bar, (read: sink ) draught taps, and a microwave. There is not a stove/oven or BBQ. Complimentary snacks and junk food are stocked in the cabin . Cabins have a stocked coffee/tea bar.

Do we need to bring firewood? No need, we’ve got you. Wood, starters and BBQ lighters available. Muskoka Chairs and Picnic tables near the fire cages and pits. You’re more than welcome to bring a camp chair if you’d rather.

Can we bring/have/light fireworks? Hard No.

Is there AC in the cabins? Fans in all units, ceiling fans in some. No AC.

Is there heat in the cabins? Yes, some have fireplaces (propane) and others have baseboard heaters

What if I want to bring food? Sure!! Just keep in mind there are no cooking facilities (aside from Microwave or Crockpot) nor any plates or utensils. Sandwiches, snacks and more are totally an option. Just remember to bring utensils and anything else you may need.

Can I bring a BBQ? Not so much. Lots of great food options nearby Clear Lake Brewery & Bottle Shop is open year round , the seasonal Clear Lake Distilling Co has great  pizza. El Gringo Cantina is our resident seasonal food truck and Torrance General just across the road.

Are you pet friendly? We love them, but they can’t be overnight visitors. They can’t be at the beach, in the water or in BeerSpa, so it wouldn’t be fair to them. The are welcome in the beer garden at the brewery but cabin stays are not ok.

Do you have WiFi? We do! It’s a complimentary service and shared with other guests.

Are there bathrooms in the cabins? Heck ya! You think we want you wandering around in the dark looking for a place to pee?? That would be horrible. All cabins have a tub and/or shower combo with sink and toilet. Unless of course you’re asking about the crash cabins… those are a little different and use the locker rooms for a lavatory.

What lake are you on? We are on Clear Lake in Torrance, Ontario

How do we get a cake or sweet treats for a special event? Bring one with you (with plates and cutlery) or reach out to Hunny Bee Patisserie, Blues Sweet Treats Muskoka or Cake and Cozy All three will deliver right to your cabin.

How’s the fishing? It’s ok. If you’re an avid angler you may want to check out other lakes in the area for more action.

Can I bring a boat or my seadoo? Sorry no, not to Clear Lake, however you can bring it and venture off to launch at one of the larger lakes in the area. Torrance Beach on Lake Muskoka (2 min away) has a municipal ramp.

Should I bring flashlights? Yes! That’s a great idea! We are in a Dark Zone. Torrance Dark Sky Preserve is only a few kilometres from us, so yes for night time resort wandering a flashlight is suggested. All that said, when you’re here; Look UP!!
