Four Season
Torrance Barrens - The world’s first dark sky reserve just a few kilometres in our backyard. An amazing topography with all season, 24 hour access, it will give you both day and night experiences you won’t forget. We love this place and know you will too, be sure to give it a visit. Pop over to the Clear Sky Chart for star gazing optimization
Hardy Lake Provincial Park & Trails A fantastic set of trails located 4 minutes away on Hwy 169. The park has a rich community of Atlantic coastal plain species. These species are here because at one time, much of present day Ontario was submerged beneath numerous glacial and post-glacial lakes. When the ancient Lake Algonquin receded, it left a remnant community of Atlantic Ocean shoreline plants behind. The park also contains an inland section of displaced Georgian Bay shoreline.
Park Facilities and Activities: Parking is available however there are no visitor facilities. The park provides hiking trails maintained by the Township of Muskoka Lakes.
